He's the one of the two bikers amongst the Top Gear posse - that's got to be worth something.

I agree though. James May is great. Much as I respect Jason Dawe for representing those of us with a slightly larger frame, replacing him with May was a good move.

I think Richard has done very well for himself, and comes across as a really nice bloke.

I really hope he pulls through, and my thoughts are with him, his wife and family.

Just becasse someone may suddenly burst onto our screens as a new face, the media laps it up and all of a sudden he is on everything and the novelty soon wears a little thin. Thats not jealousy, thats I dont want to see hes fucking face or voice on TV as much.

Who is he? Hes a radio DJ that has now started talking about cars from a script that is made to be funny due to trying to increase ratings against other shows such as 5th Gear. Look at the stupid things that Top Gear are actually doing now, it is so rehearsed and scripted I cant actually remember the last decent review of a car.

He crashed whilst trying to break a land speed record, good on you, but what qualifications does he have for handling and driving or even sitting in the car? None!

Whose fault for the crash? Driver error or technical fault?

People dont spend tens of thousands of pounds developing a car to crash when the chutes are deployed Wink

Steve Irwin died being a knob, but he had skill and knowledge to be able to act like that and that was a true saddened death, but Hammond is a celebrity trying to boost hes little celebrity profile.

As I've already stated, get well soon as I dont want to see anyone injured and hurt, but please rest at home and fuck off our screens for a while.

Top Gear isn't about reviewing cars.. that format was bought by channel 5 when BBC dropped it.

Top Gear now is a car-based light entertainment show.
