Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Done 1400 miles now, and after getting rid of the first few days of nerves (cheers for the help with all of the questions Embarassed ) i'm absolutely loving it!

Haven't gone a day without a ride...it doesn't hurt so much now...i'm not scared of riding in the dark...or the rain...pretty much got used to not being able to reach the floor...sussed out the slow control and i'm finally going quicker than walking pace Laughing

Everytime i get kitted up and walk out to the garage i get the tingly butterfly feeling in my tummy, and everytime i put her away at the end of the day i just sit and stare and listen to the clinks and ticking.

So thanks for all the advice Karma Life is grand Mr. Green

Riding in the dark? Night rides rock. Haven't had one for a while...

Riding in the rain. Got decent tyres? Shouldn't be a problem. Be safe, have fun. Cool Karma

Know exactly what you mean here Andrea, I always used to get like this and wonder if it were normal. Much better now, cant believe I've been riding for almost a year now, only regret I have is having not done it years ago!
As for riding in the dark, wont be long now as only just over a month away and the dreaded clock change takes place so riding home in the dark every night again, dont bother me mind.

Since passing my DAS almost a year ago I have only managed to notch up half that number of miles due to one reason or another, but the solitude and excitement of riding the bike is why I dont mind rding even when the weather was pants and the car would have been the better option.

Glad you finally got the bike that you wanted and are enjoying it as much as you'd have hoped Thumbs Up

Ehh, 700 miles in a year? 58 miles a month? 13 miles a week?

Even if you only ride nice months, that still 116 miles a month, 26 miles
a week.

Somthing like that Thinking

Reliability and confidence in the bikes has been a major issue, dont really want to go too far just in case the bike conks out again Rolling Eyes . Hopefully the FZR will be more reliable once back in one piece Laughing
