best all round bike ever

what do you think the best bike in the world ever is. its not based on whats the fastest or the best handleing, its what is the best all round bike. base you answer on things like reliability, cost (re sale value) how long the engine will last, cost of parts,and handleing

I hate to say it, but it's probably gotta be a Beemer - depreciation is often low, servicing and customer relations are reported to be good, engines are reliable (even if they make the bike as wide as a car), and most are shaft/belt driven.

well some of the mags worte that they thought he VFR800 was the best al rounder, but i cant comment coz in my life time I've only ever owned 2 bikes. SO how would i know!

Honda C90 is the mutt's nuts. They never go wrong unless you blow it up physically. Fuel economy is excellent but don't know the miles to a tank or whatever. The only thing that ever went wrong with mine was tyres. Mainly because mine was used as a field bike Plus the C90 is the best selling bike in the world so it can't be that bad!

My vote goes for the VFR800/750. Most magazines seem to give it great reviews for its ability to tour and scratch.
Or maybe it should now be the weird looking multistrada (although its probably too ugly to be voted best at anything).

i see alot of you have put the c90 well i wont dissagree that its not a fantastic little bike but i wouldnt say its the best all round because its only a small bike and could you travel long distinces on it comfatbly or would you want to. oh yea it cant go on motorways

I recon it's the VFR800 or the Blade. Nothing goes wrong with em and the Urban Tigerstripe Blades are becoming quite collectable.
