a couple of days ago i'm going down the A10 northbound and smell fuel, can't tell where from and by the time i start to care it's gone again.

a couple of miles go by and i get into some traffic and start filtering, i smell fuel again and stop at some lights.

as we go to pull off, i glance to my left to see an old frontera with fluid coming out of the back end where the tank would be, as he pulls away it comes gushing out, probably a couple of litres.

he carries on down the road and i shit myself thinking "if that's diesel, christ".

it continues to pour out at a good rate leaving a solid trail in the road, i level up to him and get him to stop, "you've got fuel leaking out the back!" i say to the driver, "what?" his window was up,
"You have fuel coming out the back of you're car mate!"
"oh.... oh yes i know" he mouths without putting the window down.
next question, "is it diesel?!"
"what!"
"is it diesel!!?"
"no"

hoping that he runs out of fuel before he stinks up the whole place or that some kids work out that they could have some fun with a lighter Twisted Evil

But i just couldnt believe it, this guy pissing out litres of petrol and treating it like a broken tail light, Rolling Eyes yes he may have been informed 20 times in the past half hour but would you really carry on driving it if you had a tail of fuel coming from the rear of your car.

surely you'd pull over and call for recovery rather be more dangerous than a chav on a ped Laughing

I hate stupid drivers lol. I was following a vauxhall corsa the other day and his exhaust had fallen off and was scraping across the floor creating quite a few sparks. I pulled up next to him and told him. He said oh yeh i know im talking it to the garage now. Shocked

I'd do the same.. maybe try and tie it up, but for a careful drive to the garage, I'd just do it.

I drove home with a totally smashed windscreen the other day...

not stupid.. just necessary

Yeh i would have understood if it had fell off whilst going along but he clearly pulled out of his driveway with it hanging! No effort to tie it up or anything!
