OMG! Forget the 2007 gsxr.. they actually making the B-king!

Seems Suzuki are going to make the B-king after all For those that don't know, this was a bike that stunned absolutly everyone when it was unveiled at shows a few years back. A turbo busa engined naked kicking out a claimed 200bhp with just about every single electronic device ever invented added on, including owners finger print recognition ignition. But a show bike it sadly stayed.....and all we got was the gsr600, a bike a mere shadow of what was wanted... until now it seems

This is the orginal 2001 concept bike so it looks like they've made a few styling changes. To be expected i guess, but still, finally a naked bike more powerfull than the faired version and not a 're-tuned for more midrange' version

like others have said, the concept does look better. but then i guess that's how you attract people to it. make it look the muts nuts, then when people are interested, change a few small pieces along the way that shouldnt make much difference other than production cost wise.

What a fugly waste of plastic and metal. Suzuki have lost any respect i had for them. The bikes may be well engineered (we all know they're not because they don't use loctite and forget to electroplate stanchions), but they're not even decent to look at. The hayabusa really spelled the demise for suzuki didn't it. Even before then, the SRAD was a lardy minger.

Kawasaki isn't any better. The new 636 is just an absolute travesty. My neice could have done better.

We should give the designers drugs. It may make them more creative in a good way and get them all out of "woohoo! let's make fucking ugly bikes!" mode. Or shoot them and design the bikes ourselves...

More to the point - will it actually accelerate any faster than a decent sports bike (at speed, quarter mile is going to be limited more by geometry in the quarter mile I suspect). Will it handle?


I always thought it'd make sense to make a sports bike with the option of a bolt-on supercharger. Maybe also with the option of limiting the power, such as only running on two cylinders or ECU limiting - so you could maybe have the option of having your bike at 33hp, 100hp, 150hp or 200hp with 'charger.
