I am heading towards buxton on monday morning, and I am planning on stopping for refreshments at the cat and fiddle inn. Does anyone know what time they open for business?

On monday they are open 11 to 5 (food served to 4pm)

If on the offchance you find yourself haveing bangers and mash there then leave yourself an extra hour so you can get back on the bike Shocked

Do like it up there, tis interesting when its windy though! ..or snowing for that matter..

Would that be with the yorkshire pud the size of a pot hole? with 3 cumberland sausages, caramalised red onions, peas and a small mountain of fluffy mash? Drooling

I had a jacket potatoe with tuna mayo there, no matter how much tuna i piled on with a small piece of potatoe i still ended up with a large mound of tuna after i'd eaten the potatoe Laughing

Thats the one! there nothing as uncool and undignified as trying to get on a fully loaded bike for 15minutes and just haveing to give up and go back inside Neutral
