seen a set of extended sliders on ebay.com for a blade
there about 5ins long
r they good idea r maybe go for the smaller ones

From my experience, I'd say that bungs and bolts need to be made from just the right material - like a need slider, there needs to be some wear and 'give', but too much and they won't help.

I suspect those could even do damage in anything but a very slow speed drop.

Not from the size (though the dimensions don't look great) but from the material.
