Piccies from the Phillip Island GP....

[danzai66]

yes, your intrepid bike stroker was there with his tottering missus taking in all the fun.

A la Brands there was the ubiquitous beer bellys with fags hanging above like wandering distended question marks, cheap stalls selling heart disease and, of course, rain just as the main event took off.

As Melandri crossed the line everyone just legged it onto the track with the announcer going apopoleptic, did we care?? well, actually i did, but but by that time i figured that there was enough bodies on the track that if Cardosa fancied going flat out across the finish line i'd have a nice comfy wall of wombling moron flesh between me and him.

Got near ennough to the podium to almost get a mouthful of Champagne for my troubles and nearly witnessed an official GP photographer trying to have a fight with the entire crowd. Pretty tasty he was for an old fella too.

oh, and don't even think of critisizing my photography / pics because it's a bloody miracle they're here at all.

more if anyone wants...
