Well after all my trouble last weekend i got a second hand generator from a breakers yesterday, only to fit it and find that it still didn't work.

After a little rant and rave i started tracing wires to see if any were broken.

What did i find ?........................

Another bloody fuse hidden under a panel !!!!! Evil or Very Mad

So i had trouble last weekend,no bike for a week and im £90 out of pocket on a new battery and generator all because of A BLOODY FUSE!! Evil or Very Mad

Im such a dumb arse Laughing

Could have been worse, could have been the kill switch. (It has happened, on this forum even.)

The worst part is that about three different people one being an AA bloke and the other two being mechanics and they all said its the generator !

Im glad my bikes running again but annoyed that it cost me so much when all the problem was was a 15p fuse.

On saturday i got all my brake lines replaced for braided ones, same colour blue as my sv and i think they look sweet, but i had to re adjust the front brake lever, turn of main beam and turn of the kill switch, was sitting there for 5 mins thinking, why am i not hearing the fuel injection and why is it saying "chec" lol wasnt good when there was atleast another 5-6 bikes there. One on a lovely ducati 996, i was jelous.

Forgetting to turn on your kill-switch is bad enough on an electric start 'bike, but forgetting to turn it on when it's a kick-start 'bike is 9000 times worse...

Not only do you get a very tired leg, but everyone riding with you will get a tired right leg too. Don't ask me how I know, I just know - OK?

Kill-switches have a lot to answer for Twisted Evil

(And I replaced a brake line this weekend too... must be that time of year Smile)
