Right I was riding round on my bike earlier and I saw someone I ride with so I caught up with him and rode alongside him and his mate. When we stopped he parked up the bike and I went right next to him (to save space for the car trying to park next us) and accidentally hit his exhaust with my wheel (incredibly lightly) and he was like WTF are you doing and pushed my bike backwards so it nearly fell over and I fell off. So to save myself the embarressment I left but I had a wrench in my pocket (getting it for dad) and I wanted to smack him with it. Did I do the right thing.

Note - I know where he lives and am more than happy to slash his tyres.

the guy is a prat (tho whether its the person you ride with or his mate, i cant tell from your explanation). Just avoid him. no damage was done to either party no matter how close it was to you falling off. just walk away, and dont bother hanging around with such a fool, at least till he apologises anyway.
