no helmet!

I came out of work to find my speedfight on the floor, i picked it up and found that the helmet bay lock had been tried to be forced open so the key wouldnt go in the hole. so i rode the half a mile home without the helmet!!! . can i open it withont a key
and without damaging it any more, so then i can get my helmet and ride to get it fixed tomorow?

Tip. Dont keep your helmet under there.

Not only is it easy for them to nick, but if they nick the whole bike, they have a helmet provided, which makes them look a lot less dodgy.

Just welly it open. You won't do that much damage.

Find them and hurt them - you will probably see them zoom past you at the bus stop tomorrow with your helmet on.

You should be able to get in easily, and then buy a lock set from a breakers fairly cheap.

i had some total prick kick and damage part of the front facia on my ped!! I wasn't at all impressed and never found out who it was! And costs a shit loads to repair as well, so have to leave it like that too!

I guess it happens mate, theres no way of getting rid of scum like that, and they seem to get away with it too!

The seats are stupidly easy to get open unfortunately. If you cant work it out PM me and i will try and help. What model scooter is it?

They are not really built to be secure so its wise not to keep stuff under the seat when you are not on it.

dude ur from the scooter forum arent you? well i thought it was a speedifght so go in there and ive replied. just undo the two panel screws, pull the panel away from the bike, and yank the cable underneath!
