Box Hill > Worthing > Brighton > Turner's Hill > Crawley > Box Hill is much better, 90 odd miles.

The A23 to brighton is crap, but there are other way to Brighton, but the best roads aren't until you go through Devil's Dyke etc...

I'd say theres better roads on the Worthing side (west of the A24), billingshurst, Amberly, Arundel loads of really good roads around there.

Anyway I'll be there.
