hi

took my practical test today....and i Failed Sad Sad

i did the u-turn no probs and also the emergancy stop is a piece of
piss.

The thing i failed on was driving to dam slow (bastards)
if i was going OVER the speed limit i would understand but come on, i was driving safley and i was consistant but still failed.

Any way my point is i did the test without any proper training, i did
it in chelmsford where i dont know the roads at all and i did it on
a NSR after coming straight from a moped (well about 5 weeks on nsr)

so if i can nearly do it with out training then u should give it ago and who knows u might even pass first time and save £hundreads!!

anyway thats my moaning out the way will try again in a couple of weeks

good luck!

Dan

I did mine with no training, passed 3rd time Confused :

Your meant to drive on, or below the limit. Only go slower if there is a reason to, like bad weather/ visiblity, road surface etc

Good luck for next time Smile

Unlucky mate. It may seem harsh, but have you ever been forced to follow someone going under the speed limit? It's fecking annoying, and it's only right that examiners try to elimate that.

Since you know what you failed on, you shouldn't have a problem passing next time Wink

The best riders fail first time Smile

Sometimes examiners can be really arsey, don't let it get you down Smile I got failed the first time for some arsey little thing too, I don't think I was a better rider when I passed at the next available oppurtunity Rolling Eyes Good luck! Wink

You've got a good chance of passing next time then mate as your actual riding seems ok.

That reminds me, I need to book my test soon Confused

The same thing happened to the guy I did my training with. The road conditions where bad, two people had dropped their bikes on their test before us and there was a nice diesel spill just on the main road from the test center Rolling Eyes

But the guy failed for going to slow, something like 60 on a 70 road. Basically go the limit or just under it by a couple of mph (this is the safest way as just on it may be a bit dodgy depending on your speedo calibration)

Best of luck next time mate

Hex

I was failed for being 'too confident', apparently in these little narrow streets I was passing parked cars 'too close and too quickly'.

I passed first time because I'm fu**ing great! Wink I did get a bollocking for wheeling a CG125 across a set of major lights on one of my lessons though.
