Very Happy
1998 Thundercat
12400 miles
Full micron delta system
Scottoiler
New BT020's
Hagon rear shock
Datatool System 3
Datatag

The bike isnt mint, theres a few chips, rusty bolts and spots of corrosion here and there, but i knew i would be getting something like this for my money.

Since the pics below i've got out the autosol and polished the can and link pipe, heel plates and hangers and a few other bits that had started to corrode. Going to spend all of saturday cleaning the bike and hopefully fitting the restrictors myself at the same time (FI sold the restrictors to my Dad Confused ).

My Dad rode it back home and said how nice it is to ride. Cant wait to get out on it, my test is a week tomorrow Razz

What you think?
ps. its my first 'big' bike

Guy was asking for £1900! I also found one of his old adverts asking £2100.

I got it for £1700 Cool

He also gave me a haynes manual (typical, i got one off ebay last week too Evil or Very Mad ) and a paddock stand!

Im probably going to get a new plate made up as the current one is illegal and i dont like the font. Whats the smallest legal plate i can get? I was told 9" X 7" is a standard motorcycle plate, but apparently 8" X 6" is still legal, just!

cheers for the comments Thumbs Up

Laughing Nice one - bargain!! Thumbs Up

You could always flog the spare manual! There's actually a post somewhere on the forums about small number plates being legal, so you might just get away with the smaller one you want to get?

It depends, what the registration is, the thinner the letters the smaller the plate can be.

Nice aggressive sized bike, but I just dont like the rear tail unit. Why have a long black turd of a seat, a single racing style tail unit would look Cool .

Not bad for £1700 Thumbs Up

The stupid set up on the FZR looks like a child designed it, would nt fancy taking a pillion on it.
