Ok heres my situation....

I have a 2001 NSR125 (same as Zimma's old one)

I also want a 125 or 250 crosser........what do I do......sell the NSR and buy a CG125 or similar, then with the extra money buy a crosser, or do I stick with the NSR and save up for like a year for a crosser????

Plz give me your opinions I am going mad here!!!

you should sell the NSR and buy either a Yamaha DT125 or a Kawasaki KMX125/KMX200. That way you'll have a decent crosser that you can run on the road. I've heard these type of bikes are nearly as fast as the NSR as well- possibly even better on acceleration.

Sell your NSR
Do your test (If you haven't)
Get a KMX200 or simialr or even maybe a DR350... they're all <33hp and no more than 2 NU groups higher than a NSR so insurance shouldn't be too bad. If you want to do serious off roading you can probably get a spare set of tyres & wheels to swap over.

You could allways buy an older model 125 sports bike for the road.

hmmm well I haven't done my test yet, but am planning on doing so soon.

Why do I want a crosser? Because loads of my m8s have them and I went on a CR125 the other day, thrashed the bollocks off it and I loved it. If I got a crosser I don't want a road legal one, cos I would end up nackering it and having no road bike, lol. I want something I can mess about on, and when it breaks can take my time to getting round to fixing it. My m8 reckons I am better off keeping the NSR and getting a cheapo 125 or 250 out of the Admag or sumthin, but then again he would say that, as he needs me to go riding with him cos he is gettin an RS125!! lol

Keep the NSR even if it's just to look at, it's too nice to get rid off.
