Hi
Played footy tonight, first time 11 a-side for a few years.

Went in for a 50/50 challenge took the ball but as i fell, my knee went into the back of the guys ankle.

He let out a blood curdling scream, was horrible Shocked

. This is a guy in his mid 30's remeber rolling around screaming Sad

.

You could see the bone sticking through his sock.

Ambulance came and strechered him off, as he was in the ambulance when of the spectators saw his leg and fainted.

I feel fucking well bad, nothing complared to what the guys going though Sad

.

Apprently he was supposed to on holiday to Brazil next week, so Ive fucked that up for him too Sad

.

Was a horrible experiance, but I guess that football, shit happens. Im not a dirty player it was just an accident (was a good tackle mind) my trailing knee just happened to catch him.

I know how you feel, broke a kid's jaw in a TKD tourney once, he ducked my first kick and sorta planted his face right infront of the other. As my foot was coming down his face was coming up so it sorta doubled the impact. Shocked

I felt horrible and ended up going to the hospital to see how he was, looked a hell of a state, I gave him my trophy and a box of choc's for when he was better. Talk to him to this day on MSN which is nice. Thumbs Up

Worst thing i've done in football (mind you, i aint played it about 5 year) was go for a shot on goal from about 30 yards, a right belter...one of my own team, yes MY OWN TEAM got in the bloody way and it broke his arm Very Happy

Worst personal injury, or one that hurt the most i'll tell you that (you can see where im going) was in year 11, playing rugby...trainer dude passed me the ball and said 'JUST RUN'...so the plonker i am, i did Very Happy

........some big fat bloke, about 6'4", going on 18 stone was in the way...and his knee landed right in the kahooleys....first thing i heard from anyone was 'no kids for you lad'....i almost had a tear to my eye it hurt so bloody much.

Bit of advice, don't run full pelt (mind you i could do 100m in 12.8 secs back then Smile

) at some big lardy bloke!!!!

Training last year I saw a guy jump for a header and land on his sholder which discolated. Not nice.
