Riding Spirits is good because it's the only one that allows you to customize a bike, from exhausts to headlight covers. Smile

Super-bike Riding challenge isn't bad but after the first few races you notice it's very repetative & you don't get rewarded anything apart from bikes you can already unlock.

Doesn't seem to be alot of diffrence in bike games, unlike car games for example.

Are modern day, non-internet based games just slightly tweaked versions of their predessors? How many sequels does the average block buster game have these days?

Hmmm, kinda like the constant 'development' of modern day sportsbikes then?

Is this new Superbike game any good? Already have TT Superbikes, MGP4 and Tourist Trophy...

Imo Tourist Trophy is best for number of tracks and bikes, however TT Superbikes holds the trophy for best handling, powerwheelies and lowsides are basically impossible on tourist trophy. Powerslides better on TT Superbikes aswell.
Another game seemingly overlooked is Test Drive Unlimited, not out for the PS2 until February I believe(although already out on the XBOX 360), has pretty decent reviews and although its mainly a car focused game there are the odd few bikes in there, though the reviews say the bikes handle a bit funny, but possibly worth it simply as a half decent free roam bike game.

I have TT and Riding Spirits 2 n PS2 and have Motog3 on XBox(The THQ developed one). Superikes Riding challenge I didn't like at all. Didn't like the motogp series on PS2. The motogp3 is also a good game, but IMO TT is the best, then riding spirits(more bikes, good physics, but rubbish grapihcs+sounds) then motogp(good physics and tracks, but not a very long playing life)

I'm sorry but I couldn't play Tourist Trophy, it was too realistic for me.

I found it impossible to play and I couldn't be bothered, I just constantly kept falling off.

Luckily i'd hired the game so no loss.

Personal favourite is Moto GP4.

On PS2, I'd have to go with TT superbikes. Best bike game ever, full stop, no argument, is GP500 on the Pc. It keeps evolving, is fully moddable and can be updated constantly with new riders and bikes. If you want to slide the rear everywhere and slide out of the corners, thats the game to go for.
