i think there in the carbs but carbs are complicated so best bet is to get a garage to do it:) ____________________ Bikes owned :- 2001 nsr125, 1999 zx6r, 2006 yzf-r1, 2009 xmax 250, 2012 yzf-r1, 2015 MT-07

It's pretty simply to remove the 33bhp kit from the RVF, but it's a very fiddly job...
- Remove the two side mid panels
- Remove the lower fairings and all the assorted rubbers / foam pads
- Remove the seat, and unbolt the tank
- Remove the two "air funnels" which lead into the tank
- Lift the rear of the tank up somewhat, and turn the fuel tap to off
- Pull off the big hose on the left (overflow)
- Pull off the small hose on the left (vacum connector)
- Pull off the small hose on the right (breather)
- Now you should be free to lift the tank clear
- Remove the airbox covers, nothing which way around the air tube to the secondary air filter is fitted
- Pull out the air filter and unscrew the bottom airbox bolts to free it
- Remove the whole dealie so that you're left with the carb bellmouths
- Free the idle adjuster and choke cable from the left of the bike
- This is the really fiddly bit: use a long crewdriver to loosen the clamps holding the carbs to the intake manifolds
- Remove the fuel hoses from the carbs
- Tug and pull to free them, they are quite stiff to pull out because of the V shape they're stuck into
- Now you should be left with the intake manifolds visible, remove the restrictor plates
- Re-assemble the whole lot
Et'voila! Twice the power... By far the hardest bit is getting access to the clamp screws on the intake rubbers - the rest is easy but drawn out, but good golly miss molly is it worth doing |

Course you'll be able to pull wheelies!! You can pull wheelies on an NSR!! So it ain't gonna be rocket science n an RVF or similar is it??? Just ask Zimma if his ZXR wheelies..........hehe ____________________ A big enough hammer fixes anything! |

Well the illegal bit is 'not being in proper control'... and I allways thought wheelies showed good throttle control |
