Took my son and step-daughters to see Little Man earlier this week.
The kids seemed to enjoy it, but really not what I would have chosen

I saw the Texas Chainsaw Massacre again (taped from tv the other day) and The Krays video (which I borrowed from a mate), I thought it was weird and wooden acting, which was shame.

Silent Hill.
Very creepy and atmospheric. Pays due homage to the video game it's adapted from. Believe it or not it's not just a slash fest. You do have to figure a lot of things out. The way I saw it, Silent Hill existed in three dimensions One in our world, one in a kind of pergatory and one in hell. Infact the plot could be described as overcomplicated and the ending..... well get it on dvd now Mr. Green

Fuck off, your fucking kidding. Its absolutely shite. The story is wank, the acting is pish, Sean Bean is there just to give it a famous face and in general its fucking shite. The dialogue is terrible and its nearly the worst film ever. Its not even a shite film thats fun to watch (like resident evil), its just plain shite.

Me and six of my mates (3 girls included) all concluded that it wa the biggest waste of life ever, I mean, that two hours will never come back.

On a plus note, the special effects are fantastic and the cinematogrophy is very well done. Had any good scriptwriter be given this kind of resources a brilliant horror could have been made.

I go to the cinema every week and get Blockbuster postal rentals, so I have seen a LOT of films

Watched "You, Me and Dupree" last night, suprisingly, fucking hilarious.

Saw "Right at your Door". Was a bit slow, but the twist at the end is amazing! Definately worth watching.

I reckon the best film I've seen this year off of the top of my head is "Lady in the Water" (It's got Paul Giamatti from "Sideways" in it, another great film). If you liked Unbreakable, which you bloody well should, then watch it.

Anyone seen a film called Slither?

It's a comedy horror. I've only seen trailers for it but it looks really good. I think it's out on DVD on Monday, don't even remember seeing it in the cinema, though the one in my town is beyond shit!

We rented a film last week called 'The Ringer' or something like that. Johnny Knoxville is in it and it's about him entering the special olympics. I thought it was great, very funny.

Then after that 'The Bride of Chucky' was on tv. Had never seen that before, very funny also. Laughing
