Evening folks,
I'm after a new tire for the back end of my SZR660, I always buy scrubs because I'm a pleb, and I've seen a Dunlop 209 GP up for grabs.

I've had a BT090 on there, which I liked, albeit quick wearing.

Anybody know what this tire is like? Having trouble finding any reviews online...

Thanks folks.

It will be a quicker wearing I expect.

The GP tyre is their 'road legal race' tyre - similar to Pireli supercorsa and the like.

Should be very sticky while it lasts, especially when up to temperature.

I'd prefer that on the front than the rear, I understand singles are quick to eat tires, but I ordered it none the less. £30 isn't bad even if I only get a few thousand miles from it.

Thanks for the chip-in.

Depends how you ride, but I'd have thought a few thousand miles would be optomistic for a rear.

However, compare it to the cost of a new 090 it isn't too bad.

The other thing to consider is that the Dunop GP series tends to have a very triangular profile, which might possibly induce some handling issues with a more rounded tyre on the front?
