scam. never, ever follow a link from an email about any account you have. that includes the likes of ebay and paypal as well.

always type the home page url into your browser and navigate from there!

A tell tale for me, believe it or not is spelling mistakes, grammar, and words used

EG... traveling, vacation (sounds American or similar), HSBC has a obligation (would be aN obligation), and so on...

Just small things, but it scream scam straight away

Yeah, I always ask on here when I get emails from my bank.

Anyway, can't stop because a mate of mine from Nigeria need to shift $35,000,000 through my bank account and I get to keep 20% of it.

I bet you're all jealous now.

Fuck sake is everyone too lazy to manually type a web address in rather than rely on links? A lot less people would get fucked over if they did.

I know someone who browses the web with google, if they want to go to hotmail, they google for hotmail and then click on the link Rolling Eyes Brick Wall

If I were you I wouldn't have even clicked on the link.

Just by loading that image you already put yourself at risk far more than you know.

I never did click on it because there is no link, they expect me to copy and paste it lol. Ive heard of people going along with it and typing in abusive stuff to them in the boxes, sounds a good idea but to much effort to write it all in.
