If you look at the fuel tap, there are two hoses. 1 is fuel coming out the tank and into the carbs, the other is the vacuum hose. In basic terms the tap only allows fuel out when this hose registers a vacuum, which is created when the engine is running.
It basically is a safety thing to stop fuel gushing out if the fuel hose becomes loose |

That pipe did go to the fuel tap, it runs mint now!
Now for my next problem, a water leak!
In the middle of the V (between the two pairs of cylinders) theres a metal pipe, I'm hoping its a coolant pipe because thats whats leaking out of it! At the near side it bends down towards the ground and another pipe goes into it, its leaking at that join, but I cant see how it should be sealed, is it just a rubber ring or something?
If it it I'll just take the pipe out, put some silicon on and put it back together!
Thanks

There is nothing in the Hanyes manual about it.
