yep its about £5.50 to see a film here at the omniplex. It is a rip off!
i also remeber paying £2 for a ticket when i was younger at the savoy, (very very dirty cinema where everyone smoked and spat their chewing gum out on the seats) ____________________ All the breast.

It's about £7.80 last time I went to the odeon in guildford.
This is why I don't go as much as i'd like.
The guy behind the till said "it'll only come to £6.00 if you have a student card"
To which i replied "Trouble is, I'm not a freeloading student"
Full time work FTW. |

Round here the grotty showcase is £3.50 which aint half bad and the cinema is usually empty so you can have a fag and chat to your mates about the film while its happening.
Then you have the pretentious Cineworld which is £6. I know which one i use all the time.. Except for if im on a date and pretending im well loaded

the film cost just about covers the cost to the cinema of getting the film and showing it.
The running costs of the cinema, and the wages of the staff comes from the 'concessions' ie, popcorn, hotdogs, nachos and drinks.
if you want to blame anyone for the high cost of the film, blame the film producers, not the cinema
