Hi
Ok ive got a "Honda NSRR 125 import" and heres a list of what needs to be done to it, bearing in mind i just had to fork out £450 for another engine after the original one sized up an craked. And i've only had it for 6 months and i think ive spent £1000 on it so far. Including rear tyer, steering head breaings, chain and sprokets and a second hand engine. Anyway heres the list:-

1. New fron wheel Crying or Very sad
2. New break pads
(front and rear) Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
3. New chain and
sproket set Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
4. New left indicator Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
5. One headlight Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
6. Drive shaft for speedo Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
7. Steering head Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

This all equals fucked so im gunna fix it an sell it to sum poor sod Rolling Eyes anyway i was just wondering
"how much it's gunna cost?"
Im gunna go to a proper honda dealership and get proper parts this time. The small dealership just kept giveng me crap parts. Oh look ive just committed suicide Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Ill probably get a 250 when i ve passed my test an get it restricted to 33bhp, well mabey.

"Help!"

Heres what you do;

1.make sure you are taxed and insured.
2.take bike to field one night.
3.Burn bike (properly mind)
4.Go home and sleep
5.In morning, look out of window and make 'astonished' noises
6.run and tell your ma and pa some c*nts nicked your bike
7.Let them sort it out for you.
8.Get new bike with insurance payout.

Thats my advice.

Thats a good suggestion from kris. A better one is to get a friend to do the burning thing for you, that way you can have an alibi Twisted Evil

Or....just flog it to some poor sod and buy yourself another one.

Seems to me you'll be losin money either way. Ask yourself this.
Whats better?

a) Current 125 bike, new parts, cost loads to fix(honda prices Evil or Very Mad ), skint.
b) New bike, more power, cost a fair bit to insure, skint.

I know what i'd do. Plus if you're like me you'll be bored of a 125 already.

get stuffed once i get all the parts done it'll be in good nick, and plus i'd only sell it to u for two pints or 2 pints and a packet of crisps. The bikes 4sale on the exchange and mart section, just to see what price i can get for it, obviosly its no good sellin it here as you all know every wnaky detail about my fucked up bike

bike is proving to be a bitch to de-restrict.
Mind you, havent looked at the carb plate yet.
No, I live in Chatham,Kent, about 44 mins from BoxHill, but I travel quite a bit on my bike, just ask Kornel.
Where you based? Do you go to BoxHill much?

hi
yeah mines restricted too cant de restrict cause its an import i live about 30 mins away so i go every so often when the bike reliable. Its nice to speak 2 someone else with a 125, the bigger bikes seem to be edging out us 125's.

Hi

I thought you bought your bike new? Why have you had to pay for those repairs? It should be under warrenty, and that does not mean that they tell you to buy a 2nd hand engine and they will fix it on the cheap

Sounds like you have been stiched up by the dealer. Maybe time to talk to trading standards

All the best

Keith

Most 250cc four stroke sports bike make about 35/40 bhp so a restricted one will make hardly any difference. If you're moving up from a 125 two stroke a 400cc four stroke would be a better choice if you can insure one.
