Hi all,

this may sound daft but its true, my mate has a Honda CR 250 and hes having a problem with it the bike, bikes ok when its cold and runs fine but after its been running and the engine is at a good running tempature when we stop for some food and he stops the bike when he trys to start the bad boy again it does not start it needs bumped it driving him mad and we dnt understand why it is doing this....

Kick and runs ok from cold.... does not kick and start when hot????

any ideas people?

any help would be great

The cr250 is a two stroke am i right its just i was thinking of an xlr250.

You may need to open the throttle by exactly the right amount to start a hot engine.

Of course, finding exactly the right amount depends on how hot it is and is left as an exercise for the reader Smile. But it probably won't start with it completely shut. Start by slowly rolling it open while kicking/spinning it, see how you get on.
