Cheap Motorcycle Couriers?

Does anyone know any good sites for this service, I need a bike delivering to Southampton from my house in Leeds and just wondered how much it would be ?

Any recommendations of who to use?

Talking general ballpark areas of money here, or is there anyone with a good idea of how to get it there?

I would take it but I'm not insured on it anymore so that is out of the question.

Now Im not sure on the distances between southampton and leeds and im too tired to find out but could you perhaps rent a van for the day (or two) it may work out cheaper to drive yourself.

Obviously you or a willing friend would need a license not sure if you do?

I just bought a set of race fairings off ebay down that way that i'll be collecting sometime this week. Maybe we can kill 2 birds with one stone? A van is £55 per day, i rented one not long ago so i have no problem renting one.

shit didn't read it properly not insured on it , er its usually £1 a mile for the services you see on ebay such that it might be cheaper to insure it and ride it down ,

that said rent a VAN £55 a day 50MPg Diesel 600 mile round trip = 12 gallons of diesel = ££60-90

I bought my bike from Granby Motors in Ilkeston and they quoted me £70.50 to deliver to sunderland.

It arrived by DHL and, although I wasn't in at the time of delivery, according to my missus there were a few other bikes on the truck as well.

I thought it was cheap.
