I don't know, looks more like the ER-6n to me, certainly the headlamp/clocks.

That is horrible. I have been trying to convince myself that I could live with an ER6 with fairing but that is just gross.

That's because the 'little' exhaust is not the exhaust. The little bit is just the stub outlet that we get told is 'moto-gp' styling. In reality it's just an excuse to get away with doing something so cheap and nasty I just can't belive it's being done on the current bikes such as the new GSXR600, R6, ER-6n/f and now this Hornet.

https://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a129/extreme3d51/hornetcan.jpg

Notice the large rod shaped object running along side the downpipes?? thats the exhaust.... and it's not little either Shocked . Rather than spending a little money into engine emissions and make a decent normal exhaust they just stick what is called a 'dustbin' silencer filled with a whopping big catalyzer under the bike. It's a crime and they know it Thumbs Down

Not keen. A Hornet should look like a Hornet, not a crossbreed of an ER6N and a Buell.

Maybe most are just a little bit scared of change? First off, hats off to them for being brave enough to change it in the first place, the big Hornet following were never going to be pleased easily!

Me, I think it's not bad and might look really good in the flesh (I like the headlight, which was always the Hornets downfall in my humble opinion)! An undertray would take care of that messy exhaust to (something Honda have no doubt thought of).

Thumbs Up to Honda for having balls!

hmm I have to admit I'm not blown away by the looks... but 19 litre tank, low exhaust and fuel injection are all welcomed.

Comments about it being a buell/er-6 cross couldn't be more true, but I bet its a better bike than either Smile

That's the thing I don't get. There are 6 pots on the images, but the spec sheet says it only has 2 pots.

It'll be nice to see it in some light, you can't see much of it on the black background.

According to the specs, it makes 75kW (100.5bhp) and 63.5Nm (46.8) lb/ft. The 2006 Hornet produces 95bhp so it's up 5bhp, and 46lb/ft still on torque, except the new one develops it 1,000 rpm higher. The new one is also 5kg lighter. I look forward to the reviews.
