I now have a brand new honda cbr1000rr i have been riding bikes for 1 month now due to passing my full test. all i need to do is pick it up tomrrrow at the dealers.

how fast will it go? and should i worry about going around corners in the rain and ice?

have to say sounds abit silly being a new rider your not ready for something with that amount of power espically if your asking how fast it will go.

this has got to be a joke! he asked is it a wind up, as in are you taking the piss and you say no its black haha he didnt ask if it was a toy.

To answer your questions if any of this is true, it will go fast all the way up to the fun side of 170, its a bit of a monster of a bike to go for with so little experience but thats your choise so enjoy riding. corners in rain be carefull and gentle watch out for all the normal hazards you will be fine. as for ice id say take the bus thats a powerfull bike you got, you will loose it fast on ice esp black stuff you cant avoid or see till your back wheel on it.

Best advice i find for riding litre bikes in the wet, is to crack the throttle open very fast on cold tyres, it helps them warm up. Works even better in the corners... Shifty
