To be honest, if you want to be comparable to everyone else to give yourself the best chance, I'd save the money for fresh tyres regularly.
Personally, I wouldn't spend money on engine turning really to start with. When it starts to get to the point that you are not progressing because you are getting held up by the same people on the straights everytime, then maybe consider it.
Some people out there will probably have 125hp+ bikes - no way you're going to be able to match that without a lot of money.
If nothing else, you may find the money is better spent on a few pre-season trackdays than tuning.
If you can be pretty sure that you're a top rider that's 'going somewhere', then the situation may be different - but even then only 5% of those that think that actually ride well enough to justify thinking that . |

thanks for the advice. i think i will just do a light tune and got for more tyres like you say. looks like i will have a garage full of tyres after a while.
