Just been reminded by another thread.

Last Christmas my Dad bought me a Kriega rucksack from an ebay shop brand new. For some reason the ebay seller sent us one, and then the manufacturer sent us another one that arrived either the same day or the day afterwards. He only paid for one.

He phoned them up and let them know of the mistake, and arranged with them to pick it up from his workplace, which they never have.

It's now a good 9 months down the line and amazingly the company haven't picked up a £75 backpack, is it legally his to sell on yet?

They're blatently going to ask for it back as soon as you sell it!

Naaah - I'd sell it. What's the worse that can happen, they ask for it back, you can't give it to them so give them £75 instead. You probably won't have lost more than £30, so it'll only cost you £30 if they suddenly remember after 7 months.
