Scary stuff and I posted it to show how a chain can behave if it snaps - look after your chain and it will look after you

suprissed the chain stayed close to the bike.
friend nearly got killed by a chain throwing of the bike infront .

My chain snapped last tuesday on the M1 between junctions 16 and 15a.

I was lucky it just spat it out the back and caused no other damage.

I also use a scottoiler with a duel injector.

A well known bike dealer recently sold me a bike with a new MOT and half a link missing from the chain. Something like that makes me realise how lucky I was I noticed it before it snapped. They have now offered me a refund on the bike ( it has other faults as well).
