Tyre removal

I want to get the tyre off my rear wheel, as it's a pretty much new Pilot Power which someone is interested in buying, and obviously I don't have much use for it.

The problem is, I'll only be back home for 2 days this weekend so I won't have time to take it to the mechanics to get it taken off.

Any easy ways to get then thing off myself? I really don't want to damage the wheel at all, so I won't lose money on the wheel trying to wrench the tyre off.

valve out, get it in a vice to break the seals and go easy with some tyre levers, not too messy if you do it right

It's braking the bead down that is difficult.

Once you've done that, remember to push the far edge of the bead you are trying to remove right down into the middle of the wheel.

Best of luck, I'm never removing a tubeless tyre myself again without cutting it to bits.

i normaly find walking the tyre off does the trick
