Hi guys,

I'm new to this but complete my DAS on Sunday afternoon and have my test on Monday morning! Can't wait to get out on the roads.. Razz

Currently got my heart set on a CBR 600 (or similar). Anyone have one in the Hertfordshire area they don't want....?

Any tips anyone has on the test would be gretefully received...

Cheers Very Happy

Tips for passing your test are scattered all over this section of the forum mate - I'm sure there are at least 5 threads on the first page alone Razz

Never the less, the main one is don't let your nerves get the better of you, and remember that you start the test with a PASS, you only need to hold onto it for a little while Smile

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Thanks, Pal.

Riding my own ride seems to be the advice that most people are giving me.

Kinda excited about the fact that I could be riding this time next week!!! I'll let you know how I get on.

Cheers

Would you believe it? Got to the test centre in St Albans today and found out that, due to a computer error, my test had been cancelled! Mad

Absolutely gutted as had a bike lined up in case I passed and this has messed it all up! Crying or Very sad

Now got a test for Friday in Pinner and hope that it all goes OK. Still can't believe what a waste of time. money and nerves today has been. So frustrating!

I have asked around about Pinner and they say it's quite good. I was originally booked for St Albans so it might be a blessing in disguise...

Great news. I had my test this morning in Pinner and passed with only 2 minors. Thumbs Up

For those that were asking: Pinner is actually quite good compared to St Albans. Only appears to be one road for the dual carriageway bit (which has roadworks on) and the guy that did my test seemed fairly reasonable.

I'm hoping to pick up my Suzuki GSX-F on Sunday. Can't wait. Very Happy

Thanks for all your good wishes.

Nicely done!

Pinner was where I passed my test too. Dual carriageway didn't come into it in mine, just a bit of single-carriageway NSL - and there's only a couple of stretches of that they can use in a test there. Apart from some odd double roundabouts in the area it's quite straightforward. And the joy of Pinner is getting to watch all the kids on their car tests trying to get up the kerb into the test centre. I saw one examiner literally hit the roof on my test day.

Congratulations on passing mate. No minors either! Thumbs Up

Shame the weather has taken a turn for the worse but I'm still out on the roads (carefully) with my new licence and my 'new' bike! Very Happy
