all you have there is one bullet camera with a power cable, and a video cable coming from it.
you have the battery pack connected to 2 rcas usually for sound which goes off to (it looks like a 3.5mm audio and video plug)
your power supply isn't even connected to the cameras power at all.
if you want it to work undo all that wiring and start again
you need to wire it like this

easy ~
you don't have to hook up both the audio cables to the mic if you just have a mono mic. ____________________ the humans are dead

i can't see what plugs you have in that pic.
but it looks like you may be able to pull off the battery back and plug the mic into that cable (3.5mm mono to single rca)
i can't tell if the power plug on the camera is a 3.5mm mono female
if it is and the cable from the battery pack is a male you should be sweet. you'll just have the battery pack close to the camera is all.
try this. thats if ive spotted all the connections right of course

Lee
It does look like it's connected up properly to me but I do remember having issues, connecting it all up (I think there were 2 ways it could be connected up). I can guarantee the sound was working the last time I used it though so it must be a faulty connection.
Soulrider - this kit does exactly that. Records onto an SD card (goodmans x-pro) |

how much video (in minutes) do you fit on these things, like the Goodmans X-pro? It comes with 256Mb as standard (i think)
I've seen a Mustek one that has only 32Mb, but can take SD cards.
I'd like to set something like this up, but would want to record for a reasonable time, and then edit it later.
Can the frame-rate be modified to save space? (i'm thinking for a time-lapse/speeded up effect on longer rides)

From what i see in the picture, the battery pack is not connected to the 2 RCA's, but instead the Microphone cable (mic is seperate from the camera itself) and power cable have been selotaped together so it just looks connected.
The power cable is running directly to the camera, and the microphone is connected to both RCA jacks via a splitter. Try removing the splitter, and connecting the Microphone cable only to the Red RCA.
(i dunno it is hard to see though, you could be right)
