AAAAAAARRRRRGH! FINDING THE RIGHT TROUSERS!

done and seen a few posts on thos topic but im going mad now.

the closest good find i have are the draggin drys but they are to short from waist to crotch and feel like they keep needing pulled up! also with armour added the back of the legs are too tight and tbh even in the cold the material is still too heavy for me.

all other textile trousers are either too long, too warm with lining or too baggy without.

i dont like the idea of leathers for the heat issues but in the name of god! cany you get a light pair of waterproof tousers with armour that are the right length with a higher waist so i dont get builders cleevage?

im thinkig of glueing armour to to my tracky bottoms and spraying with water reppelant but that wouldnt help road rash god forbid!

you want textiles you do, with removable thermal inners and armour - great for the cold season.

I just bought some Bering Fit textile trousers yesterday.

I bought them because my journey is very short these days and I can’t be bothered with leathers. These trousers will pull on over my normal trousers, add a textile jacket and off I go.

The weather here has been a bit weird, very warm and wet, but so far I have found the trousers too warm. The have a zip out lining which I have of course removed, but even so they’re kinda sweaty. I find leathers much cooler and more comfortable.

They live up to the name and they Fit well. No complaints there and as the temperature drops I’m sure they will be more comfortable.

Incidentally I only bought Bering trousers because that’s what the bike shop opposite my work stocks. I tried on all their armoured textiles and these were the most appropriate. Dunno if they’ll last, but they seem quite good quality.

I wear Draggin Combats.... the pinky/purple, white, black and grey ones

I do like them.... but would like something a bit more substantial....but like glezgaderry, nothing else seems to fit how I want them to. If they fit on the waist then they hang off the arse...that kind of thing.

MY OH just had a pair of leathers trousers made-to-measure, cos he had the same problem and he is well chuffed with them..... so I might have to go down that route.
