ive been riding 18 years, but when i got my new 675, my mum (bless her) suggested i do some more training, as ive been tarting around on tuned 2-strokes all of my biking life, and by her logic a 4 stroke is a big fast bike, so im off to the ace cafe tomorrow to do the bikesafe london course.

simple question, from a speed limit ignoring, car kicking hooligan, what should i expect?

I dont know about your area but I did one last year down here in Devon and they werent to fussed about speed as long as it wasnt silly and it was controlled (just make sure you keep to the limits in 30's and 40's)

Infact I remember following a cop overtaking at 70MPH in a 50, he carried on at 70....soon as he overtook this car the car then started doing 70 too! Very annoying.

Just make sure you have legal plates/cans/visor etc.

I had to do bikesafe last week due to a slight police incedent. Wasn't looking forward to it as I couldn't be bothered also I'm an instructor but they still made me do it. Had a great day though, the polce were very chilled out. Didn't mind the race cans, black visor, no visable tax nor speeding in the 60's. He did point out that he won't be impressed with any knee down antics or wheelies though!! and at the end you'll know all about COAST!!
