Anybody seen or got one of these?

Someone in work was showing me hers before and i heard on the radio that some countries won't let you in/out of the country.

Seems to me its just a chip with a copper wire on the back of the laminated photo page.

What information it holds though is another matter!

Anyone here work for passport agency or anything similar?

Do they cost more than the Normal ones did?

I have to get a new passport before January.

No she said its same price but only 1 in 300 get them as its a trial

Hopefully they would be implanted and monitored, if you went into the wrong country (i.e suspected illegal immergrant, terrorist) it would fry your brain.
