What are them sockets called?

Hi what are them socketes for rachet sets where it has a load of metal pins or rods inside it and when you put a nut it it pushes the rods/pins up so it fits perfect around the bolt?

I could swear id seen them before or am i making stuff up??

don't know never tried one.. doesn't look too great to be honest, especially for tight bolts/nuts, maybe i'm just sceptical about stuff that's advertised on TV the way this is anyway cheap enough for a try?

Heard the smaller ones are poor and snap, but the larger ones do the job

I bought one in a vague attempt to get the locking wheel nuts off the car when I lost the key for them.

buy some propper sockets mate, they will fek up every nut and bolt you ownt, even if you dont use them

They are crap as already stated, I was given one as a christmas pressie a couple of years ago. I gave it away in the end.

Get a decent socket set, I use Impact sockets for those hard to shift jobs.

These are good also for rounded off nuts, as the harder you try to undo the nut the tighter it grips. Borrowd one off the old man expecting it to be shit but it impressed me.
