Car breakers! go down there with a stanley knife and some wire snippers, find a recent range rover or bmw with a heated seat button.. provided you dont shorten the elements it'll be fine Thumbs Up

You'll probably need to recover your seat, use an electric carveing knife to cut a few centmeters down, like your sliceing foamy bread, put the core inside, reglue with a hot glue gun, recover.

I wouldn't want those pieces of crap anywhere near anyones bike let alone my own bike.

Really? stuff from nearby is rediculously cheap..

2/3 side mirror heater elements maybe?

Allthough £100 will just about get you heated trousers, even the best heated seat is gonna leave your lower legs freezeing still, unless your carrying a cold assed passenger also Laughing

At the end of the month I should be going on an NTV and these bits are for a Pan-European which I hope to get in the new year so I've got a fair bit of time until next winter to prepare. Although if I can get elements cheap enough a set will go in the seat on the NTV.

Make your own? A guy on the Ratbikezone has homemade heated grips and also a homemade heated vest he can plug into his bike.

er heat on your balls? , won't that affect your sperm? ,

getting soft sickpup?

anyway go get some Peltier heat exchangers , wire them up and fire them up on a steel plate , sucks up 150watts though , and my NTV doesn't like anything else draining its battery.

Better than dead through hypothermia. Not a problem though as it warms the core and takes heated blood out to the extremities.

Just old and cautious.

Forgot to add most split and uncomfortable seats are caused by sitting on them first thing on a cold winter morning when they are frozen. The cover cracks and the foam breaks.

When you do high mileage these things matter.
