 |
|
Biggest bike ive been on was a bandit 600 as pillion , it was really torquey at low rpm . anyway ive regually gone pillion with NY_sniper on his zxr400 and gs500 . Hes mental he rides really fast and leans loads . Anyway when i go pillion with him it shits me up but i love it , as im not in controll i dont know whats going to happen etc . I do trust him so its ok but still shitsme up.
Went on the back of his zxr750 today and jesus christ that thing shifts , its like shit of a shovel he was taking it steady at first then we came to a dual carrage way and its like 2 miles of straight and he just wound the throttle back and fook me i could swear everything just went in slow motion it was good.
I dont know why but going pillion is fun in a scary way, the 750 compare to the 400 is weird when i was pillion on the 400 my head was level with his but on the 750 i cud see straight over his head as i was sat higher up so all the wind hit me.
Just thought id put up a little post anyway loved the zxr750 really nice smoth bike ____________________ Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles |

Horses for courses.
IL4 or V4
Chain or shaft
Naked or sports
Whatever you feel comfy and happy with, I just could not fault it for the whole package once you get over the crippling back ache and sore wrists. I just dont get the same buzz when I read about or see a modern sports bike compared to one of yesteryear like the ZX750 and ZX7R.
The 750 is an odd cc range, dropped by most manufacturers except Suzuki as not competetive enough against the 1000s and too big for the 600s in racing. Indeed most modern sports may whip its saggy ass but if not, you just got owned by a 15 year old bike
With the new rules in MotoGP will their be a return to 750cc bikes or new and exciting 800s? ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

I stand corrected then.
I thought it may have been like WRC, the manfacturers have to make so many road going versions to qualify. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

dunno if this will make a good or intersting point or not but the only two big bikes i've had is a 2001 GSXR600 and a 1995 ZXR750..
basically i could go faster on the 600, just so much easier to do so but i get more of a kick out of the 750, just more to manage and man-handle, may not be as quick but i can keep up with a little more effort, and that's the awarding part.
saying that i could have another modern 600 if i wasn't so skint
750's are cool though so |

i believe the fzr 750 was the fastest production bike of its size when it came out ?
tbh i had the fzr exup thou and then went to the 750 and the 750 is much more fun
the looks are what get me they have that classic retro look with the big screens and round lights ____________________ FZR 1000 RU, FZR 750, Honda VTR Firestorm 1000, Kawasaki Ninja zxr6 |

I think I have a vendetta against my FZR, but I think its but ugly compared to similar bikes of the same generation.
Dont see many FZR750s for sale, same as the 250, shed loads of 600 / 1000's, so maybe quite rare. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |
