ive just stripped a crash damaged thundercat 600 down, from fairing to bare frame, in 4 hours...

with one hand..

little sore, but i couldnt just sit there staring at it Sad cant even hold the wieght of a 10mm spanner with my left hand atm.
The hardest part was the fairings, so fiddly to do with one hand.

Steve.

sat the bike down on the engine, undone all the bolts ect, radiator was a pain, and lifted the frame off, took a good hour and abit tho Sad

oh and about 6 brews, plenty of swearing and dropping if spanners.

only crashed on friday.

thing that will be the most time consuming is sending my frame away to be jigged.

has anyone had any bikes put on a jigg? can they repair some seriose stuff? mines not terrible, sub-frame is bent about 2-3 inches.

I've got some real bad news for you Steve. They normally jig frames with the engine in and both wheels on. If you don't you can't check they're in line.

Sorry.
