JL Twin VS JL single VS arrow

what one would be beter on a rs 125,

sound, perfomance and reliability..

Heard that the twin reduces performance, and i heard that JL sounds better than the arrows

Performance etc will be the same - not much.

You should be buying the exhaust because the aethetics are worth the money to you. If there's any other reason, don't bother.

Presuming you're spending a fair wod of cash on making your vehicle look good to you, there seems little point asking other people - as they aren't going to be the people thinking "wow, my bike's really cool".

Buying one for better perfomance and sound, as my mates mito with K&N and arrow makes my rs sound like a little ped..


Im only asking for a bit of adive on which you lot think is better out of JL and arrow,

Already made my mind up im buying a new exhaust,

K&N... Is that as in a K&N in the airbox or a single cone filter on the carb?

Well, in that case, buy the one you want.

Oh and remember that if you don't have the jetting changed to suit, it's possible your bike may run worse or be more prone to engine failure.

K&N cone filter on a reed valve two stroke is a big no-no. The plate on the back interferes with the pressure waves from the reeds, usually creates a nasty flat spot which gives the illusion of a violent powerband. There are ways round it with spacers etc, but generally they are not recommended. The stock airbox is usually best.

i have heard the jl-twin and it sounds pretty good,doesnt look too bad either.

isnt the jl single available in stainless steel though and the arrow only available in mild steel?.

everyone used to rave over the jl-single a few years ago

id go for the jl..be that single or twin,prefer single as it aint pretending to be something it isnt.

id go for jl purely because it is stainless and arrow isnt.

those that say it isnt giving performance gains...actually it can if used with other mods,i see no harm in someone paying out for such mods for a 125 as its no different to someone doing the same on a 600 etc,and the bonus is that a full system can be had for the same price as people on larger bikes pay for a can.

if you can afford one and want one go for it

dont get jl twin because it stumps the power from what ive heard, i doesnt need 2 exhausts, just get the jl single because there the best!

Ive heard great things about the arrow exhaust, Dont really know much about the Jl single.

And Sickpup, Maybe he dosnt get his thrills from riding fast down the straight, Maybe he likes taking courners fast.

Oh, I guessed he wanted it for a bit more speed. If you want something very loud and looks pretty cool then grab the JL Twin

Faster entry into the courner, More power coming out of the courner.
