okay, so i know ive made a mess of this but, a little adivice would be great.

okay, in short, i got caught doing 48 in a 30 i got a producer to take to the station, now, i cant find my counterpart, so we went down the woman said get a copy of ur insurance and well see what we can do.

i got it, and went down with it today, after abit of nattering she put it through the books, and said get it in asap..

now she said "it shouldnt be too much bother just get it to us, it only becomes an issue if your done for say... speeding.." now the producer had"offence" written on it she put it through as a normal producer..she cautioned me for failure to produce, but she said thats just somthing she has to do..

i didnt sign anything, or recive anything..

i belive it takes 15 days to get one back from DVLA, am i gona get in more shit?

also (totaly different thing) what is the rule about the 6 month resolve time? if its not sorted within 6 months, does it have a chance of being thrown in the trash?

many thanks, steve.

Did you bump your head when you came off? Confused

You asked this just a couple of days ago and I gave you a full answer. You can now rinng a hotline at the DVLA and for the fee (£19) paid by debit or cresit card they will replace a lost or stolen licence, it only takes a coule of days to come through.

If you'd read my other reply you could have had it by now....... Rolling Eyes

I know you can't be charged for a road offence if 6months has expired since it happened. But if you were charged on the day the charge still stands after 6months. AFAIK

The paperwork must have been passed to the courts with in 6 months.

This does not include offences tried in a crown court, such as dangerous driving, etc.

Yep, dont expect the morons at the DVLA to get it right... long delays with anything important like licensing.
