Moto-Events Cease Trading - No Valencia Tickets

Talk about ruin my day...

Two weeks to Valencia, the weekend I've been looking forward to all year, with the season poised for one of the closest finishes in years. Then I get a letter saying Moto-Events, the ticket provider, has ceased trading with immediate effect.

This means I lose the £160 they took off me months ago when I booked my tickets. I find it strange that just two weeks before the race - and right around the time the tickets should have been dispatched - the company suddenly disappears with our money.

Has anyone else had dealings with this company? Anyone else now not going to Valencia as a result?

Did you pay by credit card? If so get on to your credit card company.

All I could suggest if you paid with a credit card is to see if you can claim the money back off the credit card company. Something to do with the contract being between them (i.e. credit card company) and the other party. Other than that doesn't look too good.
