Hi all i just been looking through my paper work and i have not sent away for my full licence yet opps when i passed ages ago i thoult the bloke said i would have to send them some payment but ive been looking on the dvla site and all i can find is this:

Licence type provisional to full Fees

Provisional to full car, motorcycle, moped, bus of lorry Free

if any 1 else know please let me know as i better get it sent off

yep it wont cost you anythin to send off for your full license... usually your examiner will offer to send it off for you on passing your test... well he did in my case.

just fill out the application form... and send them your provisional (both parts) and theyll do the rest Smile

If you send it off yourself you have to send off your pass certificate as well.

When I sent mine off the examiner told me because I had the old paper licence I had to send a cheque off for 19 quid for the new licence. The new licence came back a week later then a cheque for 19 quid (from the DVLA) the week after that. I was happy Very Happy with a free upgrade
