Anyone else heard My Chemical Romance's new single? I love it and have already pre-ordered the album. It will be the first album I've bought in years! Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up

Opinions?

Not a massive fan, but they seem to write some fairly catchy songs.

Might have to ... aquire ... this album and see if they have progressed since the last.

Why is everyone wearing uniforms from the revolution? (kasabian are also doing this) ... Adam and the ants got there first....

I dont like it that much, its long, and not very interesting really, gets a bit samey I found.

Didnt like their first album that much either, some good tracks on it but not the best.

however they are good live, they were good at give it a name.

I've thought MCR were great since I first heard Helena (from Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge) in our common room whe I was back in Sixth Form. That album is amazing, every song is unique unlike with a lot of bands, especially mainstream emo. While Black Parade is good, and I'm looking forward to getting the album, Three Cheers will take a lot of beating. While You Brought Me Your Love, I Brought You My Bullets was pretty good, it sounds kinda...rough, almost unpolished. "Vampires Will Never Hurt You" is good though.
If you like Black Parade, "Thank You For The Venom" is an absolute MUST to download, it is my favourite MCR track, and a good place to start if you're looking to listen to more of their stuff.
Oh, and they are touring next month and March in this country Wink

Not a fan of MCR. They have always come across as a band for the young uns. The song you are talking about is a good tune though. Ive had to crop the wanky intro out of my MP3 on my pc though because the Piano Winds me up for some reason.
