Congestion Charge

I've been a silly boy!

On wednesday, I drove into the congestion charge zone to pick up some servers from work.

I was there literally 25 minutes and intended to pay when I got to my destination (Manchester).

I totally forgot until Friday, so spoke to them and they suggested calling back this week to see if I can intercept the payment instead of getting charged and admin fee from the hire car company.

Called them today, they ran the reg number and found no records of me entering 'the zone', they suggest I call back tomorrow, but it looks like I may have slipped the net.

Is this possible? I thought APNR saw all?!

ANPR has a ton of flaws btw , rain for example gets on camera glass , you may have been sheilded by a van on one side or all manner of things,

In Mancs the only 3 Bus lane cameras I know of (the rest are not setup yet) you can ride in the way too wide bus lane if you are next to a bus on your left.

I think you have both missed the point. He was in London where he picked up the servers and intended to pay for his congestion charge when he got to his final destination at Manchester.
