the idle has dropped on bike since i last worked on it. how do i raise it, wheres the screw that does this?

should be on the left side of the carb between the body and the float bowl.

remember everything happens for a reason, do you know why the idle has changed on your bike? there may be somthing causeing it that you should have a hunt for first.

if your bike is 1993 and later (JC22) the screws are on the right if before (JC20) they are on the left . the pilot is the most in front , should be set at 2 1/2 turn out
then after 5-10 mpn warming the idle screw should be set at 1400 RPM +-100 ( i use to set mine at 1500)
before that , you should clean tank (tap also) , air box filter foam and slightly oil it (see workshop manual) and the carb
when the bike change of sound or performance , surely it needs cleaning Very Happy
