Isn't Sky Two a channel I used to get in like the late 90's with Sky analogue?

I watched this last night but half way through I couldn't help thinking that Charlie Boorman is actually a bit of a self obsessed tosser.

I couldn't agree with u more dave.... after reading half of Long Way Round i had to stop & couldn't bear to watch the programme due to that complete & utter cock.

Did you see the fuss he put up 'cos KTM wouldn't give them a pair of free bikes? FFS.... what a wanker!

rant over Smile

I dunno... fair enough expecting free bikes is one thing but thats the nature of the business, but I'd be pissed off too if someone told me they thought I was going to fail, just because thats what some fat bastard so-called-expert reckoned.

He did act like a spolt child at times though, whereas Ewan came across as being a decent enough bloke.

I bet KTM where kicking themselves afetrwards - how many GS's did BMW sell on the back of that series?!

in the book of long way round, there is a fair bit about charlie being a cock, more than you see in the dvd

the good bit is that eventually he sort of realises he is being a cock on a few occasions

but then ewan can be a bit moody, so swings n roundabouts

claudio is a top bloke tho, putting up with the two stars

I just seemed to get the impression in the programme last night that he gives up far too easily. And doesn't seem to try that hard when he has to.

I mean, he was meant to be in training for the Daker for god's sake, so why pull off beciase your arm's hurting with just 29 minutes to go in a small enduro race? You ca'nt exactly do that in the middle of the African desert, can you?

Charlie may be a cock, but Ewen McGregor is responsible for completely fucking up the role of Obi-Wan-Kenobi in the newer Star Wars trilogy by constantly repeating 'Och, master, what are we ganna dee noo?' to Liam Neeson and being the patronising arsehole that turned young Skywalker to the darkside.
Cunt.
