Just got some new indicators from Buster's Accessories. Yep you guessed it, they're 23W, compared to the 10W in the standard ones. I didn't even bother rigging them up properly cos I tried the back ones and the relay started to buzz which isn't good.

So can someone into electrics heklp me out here, where can I get a 23W relay from (any main shops e.g. Halfords sell em???), also, how do you fit a new relay, I know its under the seat but how do I take the document tray type thing out???

Or could I just replace the 23W bulbs in the new indicators I have with 10W ones??? Would it work, or would it fry my electrics or what???

Cheers dudes

I decided to by the Hein Gericke ones...they have 21W bulbs, and Halfords sell loads of 21W blinker relays...

...I haven't installed them yet though!

They do 2, 3, and 4 pin relays...just make sure you check how many pins there are before taking it to the checkout...

Ok this is what I did. The 23W all round would not work, so I popped off to Halfords and bought 4 4W bulbs. Tried these and nothing. Then just out of curiosity I tried 23W in the back and 4W in the front and hey presto it works.......... Confused Laughing

Hmmmm, sounds good. Mine probable don;t work because I've already got 23W bulbs in the front. So if I get couple of low wattage ones for the front, then put my nice little clear indicators on the back...Hmmmm I shall try that tomorrow.
